An accomplished trial attorney and skilled negotiator, Jenny Brevorka has successfully litigated business disputes in venues across the country. As part of the Rusty Hardin team, Ms. Brevorka assisted with the court of inquiry that led to the disbarment of and jail time for a sitting judge for his role in the wrongful conviction of Michael Morton, a man eventually exonerated of a murder conviction. She represented the general counsel for Houston Community College, resulting in the school paying her client a monetary settlement and providing her with a public recommendation letter. Recently, Ms. Brevorka served as second chair in the federal trial of two Brazilian grandparents in a case that made international headlines for months due to accusations of international parental kidnapping.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale College, Ms. Brevorka earned a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She went on to attend Duke University School of Law. There, she graduated magna cum laude, was inducted into the Order of the Coif and served as the lead editor of the Alaska Law Review.
