Jim Klick is a partner of Herman, Herman & Katz L.L.C., as well as the national firm of HERMAN GEREL, LLP, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Mr. Klick is a trial lawyer who has been practicing in the areas of serious personal injury and complex litigation since 1983. Mr. Klick earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School (Cum Laude) in 1981. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin and was honored with a post-graduate Thomas J. Watson Fellowship to study in Manchester, England. Before beginning his private practice, Mr. Klick served a two-year clerkship with a United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He is licensed in the State of Louisiana (1981) and in the State of Texas (1994). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys with special competence in the area of Medical Professional Liability. He is admitted to practice before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana.
