James C. Doub represents European companies in their U.S. and foreign investments and activities. His practice includes generally the areas of international finance, corporate, mergers and acquisitions, commercial and intellectual property law. For many of the U.S. subsidiaries of these clients, he serves as general counsel and is involved not only in their legal matters, but also in their general business issues and strategies. In the past, he has served as a director for several of the companies.
Using teams of lawyers from all of the firm's practices and most of the offices, Jim coordinates the legal services for his clients and is involved in the details of many of the companies' daily finance, operations, contracting and personnel issues and problem-solving at various managerial levels. Having developed an extensive knowledge of many of the entities' businesses, he is also involved in their strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and the integration and reorganization of their various business units.
