Mr. Bridston has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of construction, real estate, and commercial cases, including trials, appeals, arbitration and mediation. His experience includes basic and complex construction disputes, commercial disputes, corporate governance disputes, and disputes arising from complex financial transactions. He also has extensive experience, for both plaintiffs and defendants, with complex real estate litigation. He has handled appeals before the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Colorado Supreme Court, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Construction Experience
Disputes involving backcharges, bidding and contract award issues, termination, change orders, delay claims, defective plans and specifications, defective design, differing site conditions, superior knowledge, defective construction and warranty issues, mechanics liens, protests, and an array of payment issues.
Real Estate Experience
Complex commercial and retail landlord/tenant disputes; quiet title actions, including access, adverse possession, boundary disputes and easements; private condemnations and rights-of-way; trespass/nuisance claims; specific performance; escrow/earnest money disputes; realtor commission disputes; and disclosure disputes (known and unknown conditions).
Mr. Bridston is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in Colorado, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.
