Fruman Jacobson is a partner, founder and former chair of the firm’s Corporate Reorganization and Bankruptcy practice, and a chair of the firm’s Credit Markets and Subprime Lending Task Force. He has extensive experience representing public and private creditors, debtors, creditors’ committees, prominent workout consultants/crisis managers, trustees and other parties in connection with troubled companies and bankruptcy estates.
Furthermore, Fruman has substantial experience handling bankruptcy litigation and related litigation (including foreclosure, fraud, lender liability and insurance coverage matters) in state and federal courts.
In addition to his experience in the area of workouts and bankruptcy, Fruman has a significant background in general litigation and has taught trial advocacy for the Midwest Region of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy for many years. He is also a regular contributor to various publications.
