Frank P. Steinherr focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. He represents private equity clients in all aspects of their investments in portfolio companies, from acquisition through exit, and has represented clients in both private and public mergers and acquisitions, including traditional purchase and sale transactions, strategic mergers, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, restructurings and recapitalizations, and tender offers. He also has significant experience representing clients in take-private transactions and carve-out transactions.
Frank is active in various nonprofit organizations and community service projects and is a longstanding panelist and co-chair of an annual CLE program, “Advising Micro-Entrepreneurs," offered in partnership with the Community Development Project of the Legal Aid Society. The program addresses the practical, substantive and ethical issues arising in connection with representing micro-entrepreneur clients, including choice of law, capital structure, and tax, employment and intellectual property considerations.
