Donald Works is the Managing Shareholder for Jackson Lewis’ Orlando office. Admitted to practice before all Florida state and federal courts, Mr. Works defends employers in connection with discrimination/harassment/ retaliation claims and wage and hour collective actions. As a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, he also works closely with in house counsel and human resource professionals to conduct HR audits, develop employment agreements and implement personnel policies.
Mr. Works is a frequent speaker on a variety of labor and employment law topics and conducts compliance training for management on discrimination, harassment and wage and hour issues. He is Past President of the Central Florida Human Resource Association and the Human Resource Association of Broward County.
For the past seven years, Mr. Works has been recognized by his peers in the publication, “Best Lawyers in America” and he has been selected as one of Florida’s “Super Lawyers” in both 2012 and 2013.
Mr. Works received his B.S. degree from Auburn University in 1977, and he earned his J.D. from the University of Miami in 1981.
