Karr Tuttle Campbell
Diana Carey currently chairs Karr Tuttle Campbell's Creditors’ Rights and Insolvency Practice Group. She has an extensive background in bankruptcy and creditors' rights, representing purchasers, landlords, and creditors in contested bankruptcy matters, including relief from automatic stay, assumption of leases and executory contracts, and avoidance actions. Ms. Carey has been a Chapter 11 trustee in several high-profile cases and a state court receiver and has also represented state court receivers, bankruptcy trustees and unsecured creditors' committees; she has at times represented debtors in Chapters 7 and 11. Ms. Carey is a frequent speaker on insolvency topics at bar-related seminars. She serves on the Executive Board of the T.T. Glover Mediation Program, is a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, Super Lawyers advisory board and numerous community organizations.
Ms. Carey's practice also encompasses corporate and business law. She is frequently recognized by her peers, including Chambers and Top 50 Women Super Lawyers in Washington since 2003 and Top 100 Super Lawyers in Washington since 2008.
