Debra S. Weisberg is a Partner at Donahue Hagan Klein & Weisberg, LLC, located in Morristown, New Jersey. She has focused her practice exclusively on matrimonial and other family law matters since entering private practice in 1993. Representing clients throughout the State, she handles a variety of family law related issues, including divorce and legal separation, spousal and child support, child custody and visitation, complex property division, same-sex marriages, prenuptial agreements, domestic violence, paternity disputes and mediation. Ms. Weisberg is also a Court approved mediator and has a reputation for being able to settle difficult matters. She handles Court appointed mediation, as well as private mediation.
Ms. Weisberg pursued her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then went on to attend Seton University School of Law and was awarded her Juris Doctor in 1993. She joined Donahue Hagan Klein & Weisberg, LLC, in 1998 and has been a Partner at the firm since 2001. Admitted to practice before all New Jersey State courts, Ms. Weisberg is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. The esteem in which she is held by her fellow attorneys is reflected in her "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. In 2003, Ms. Weisberg received the Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the Young Lawyers Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association. A Court-approved mediator, she is well known for her ability to help people settle their outstanding issues to help them save time and money.Ms. Weisberg actively participates in professional organizations, frequently speaking about family law issues. She delivered a presentation on the issue of child support at the 2018 Family Law Symposium held by the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She is also a past President of the Morris County Bar Association and past President and current a Trustee of the Morris County Bar Foundation. In 2017, Ms. Weisberg was appointed as a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Character.
