Bradley Murchison Kelly & Shea LLC
Graduated Louisiana State University Law School 1976; member and associate editor of The Louisiana Law Review; graduated Order of the Coif.
After graduating law school I served a one year clerkship with Associate Justice James L. Dennis of the Louisiana Supreme Court (he is now a Circuit Judge of the Unites States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit
Following the clerkship I took an associate's position in the casualty litigation section of an established New Orleans law firm, Lemle & Kelleher, LLP, concentrating in the fields of railroad law, medical malpractice, products liability, workers compensation and general insurance law from a defense perspective. I was admitted to the partnership as an equity partner in 1982, and gradually concentrated my trial practice in the fields of complex toxic tort class action and mass joinder litigation and railroad law. While with L&K I participated in firm governance serving for many years on the firms Executive and Management Committees.
I and a number of partners with whom I share common values left L&K in February 2009 to start our own law firm--Bradley Murchison Kelly & Shea.
After 40 years of practicing law, I have retired and am "Of Counsel" to Bradley Murchison Kelly & Shea as of June 1, 2016.
