Darron Berquist practices in the areas of asbestos litigation, toxic torts, mass torts, pharmaceutical litigation and product liability. Prior to joining The Lanier Law Firm in 2012, Mr. Berquist was an associate at one of the largest and most successful law firms in New Jersey, where he focused his practice on class actions and representing individuals suffering from asbestos-induced diseases, such as mesothelioma and lung cancer. Mr. Berquist has also advocated on behalf of individuals who have been injured by medical devices, medical malpractice and toxic exposures. Darron was selected to Super Lawyers in 2023, and was named a Rising Star from 2014-2022.
Mr. Berquist is a 2007 graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was the Business Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution and represented low-income and disabled individuals through the law school’s Bet Tzedek Legal Services Clinic. While in law school, Mr. Berquist also worked for the Litigation Bureau of the Office of the New York State Attorney General. He received his bachelor’s degree with high honors from the University of Kentucky in 2004.
