Dan Turner is a shareholder in the firm. He represents employers in all aspects of employment law, including Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, ERISA litigation, the FMLA, etc. Dan has served as lead counsel throughout the country in more than 40 class actions under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and Section 1981 and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and Age Discrimination in Employment Act. He has also worked extensively in other litigation practice areas, including state law tort, contract, and restrictive covenant claims, as well as various types of civil rights litigation. He has jury and non-jury trial experience in both federal and state courts.
Chambers USA has selected Dan as one of the country’s leading employment lawyers from 2008 to present. Dan has also been voted a “Georgia Super Lawyer” from 2010 to present and a “Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star” in 2005 - 2009. He is one of only nine Georgia lawyers named by the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers as a leading employment lawyer in 2010. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Litigation at Georgia State University College of Law from 2009 to 2011.
