Christine M. Harney has extensive family law experience, including litigating the division of multi-million dollar estates, representing business owners or their spouses with complex forensic accounting and business valuation issues, and navigating a multitude of child-related issues involving mental health experts and attorneys for children.
Christine formerly practiced family law as a partner in a Chicago, Illinois law firm before deciding to relocate with her family to California. Christine received numerous accolades during her practice in Illinois, including being selected as one of “40 under Forty” by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin in 2016; as Illinois Leading Lawyer “Emerging Lawyer” from 2015-2017; and as Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2017.
Harney is a member of the San Francisco County Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, Family Law Section. She formerly served as co-chair of the Family Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Section and has guest lectured at Loyola University School of Law regarding child support, maintenance and temporary relief.
