Mr. Stein is one of the country's leading Intellectual Property lawyers. He has spent his entire professional career enforcing and protecting his clients' patents, trademarks and other forms of intellectual property. Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, his practice includes all aspects of Intellectual Property law, including client counseling, licensing and litigation in the federal courts involving the enforcement of patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets in the electrical, computer, Internet, Information Technology, medical and other high technology fields. A substantial portion of Mr. Stein's practice also entails computer law, Internet and Information Technology law, with particular emphasis in transactional matters and patent prosecution involving medical devices and systems, computer systems, electronic commerce (including Internet-based business methods) and communications. Mr. Stein is a past Chairman of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Computer Law Committee and of the Intellectual Property Committee of its Business Law Section. Prior to joining Caesar Rivise, Mr. Stein was Patent Counsel to General Electric and a Patent Examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
