Anne Marie’s practice focuses on complex litigation and has taken her to trial in venues as diverse as Alabama state and federal courts, AAA arbitrations, and the Tribal Court of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. Anne Marie’s complex litigation experience includes a case for Intel Corporation involving antitrust, patent, and state competitive practice claims and multi-billion dollar claims for HealthSouth Corporation, which led to a $2.8 billion verdict against the company’s former CEO and a $100 million settlement with the company’s former investment bank. In the mass tort context, Anne Marie has overseen hundreds of individual claims simultaneously, and has served as a trial team member for Merck in a defense jury verdict. Currently, she serves as part of a national counsel team for a major facilitator of online travel reservations facing litigation across the country.
Within the firm, Anne Marie has served as Chair of the Diversity Committee and is a founder of the firm’s Women’s Initiative. She is Vice Chair of the firm’s Associate Committee, an ex officio member of the Diversity Advisory Committee, and a former member of the Recruiting Committee.
Nationally, Anne Marie is co-chair of the ABA Section of Litigation Woman Advocate Committee and the Section’s liaison to the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession.
