Ann's practice emphasizes land use, real estate, and environmental law. She enjoys helping clients master the complexities of local, state and federal regulations that govern development projects of all sizes. She is skilled in preparing development agreements to protect entitlements. Ann can assist clients with tools that increase development capacity, including use of transferable development rights, conservation easements, reclaimed water systems and other techniques to accomplish low impact development. Before practicing law Ann worked for the Washington State Convention & Trade Center, and during a four-year leave from private practice served as General Counsel to Forterra (a regional NGO engaged in conservation and community building). Ann's client service approach emphasizes understanding the client's business in order to provide top quality legal service.
