Andrew A. Rubin formerly a partner in the White Plains, New York law firm of Mancuso, Rubin & Fufidio. Mr. Rubin focuses his practice on criminal defense, including white-collar crime, drug crimes and DUI cases, and he serves clients throughout all of Westchester County, the towns of Southeast and Carmel in Putnam County and Federal Court in the Southern District of New York. Mr. Rubin earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts in 1970 and his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 1973. He was admitted to the New York State Bar Association the following year.
From 1973-1988, Mr. Rubin was an Assistant District Attorney at the Westchester County District Attorney's office. During this time, he tried numerous murders as well as drug and sex and violent crimes. Andrew Rubin made the decision to go into private practice in 1988 and has since represented thousands of clients charged with a wide spectrum of crimes from simple traffic violations to homicide, and has represented numerous clients in both the state and Federal courts
In addition to being a member of the New York State Bar Association, he is also a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, where he has served as chairman of the criminal justice section, and the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Due to Mr. Rubin's years of success and experience, he is well-respected within the legal community. He has lectured on criminal law at Pace Law School and has been a guest speaker before various bar associations. He has received many honors including being named among the Best Lawyers in America* since 2005. In addition, he has been named as AV Preeminent** by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest ranking an attorney can receive for both ability and ethics. He has been selected by Super Lawyers for the New York Metropolitan area in the field of criminal defense every year since 2007, as featured in the New York Times and New York Magazine.
