Amanda (Gurman) Griner concentrates her practice on litigating professional liability disputes. A Partner in the Professional Liability Practice Group, she defends attorneys, insurance agents and brokers, accountants, and various other professionals in civil litigation.
Amanda also practices in Rivkin Radler’s Privacy, Data & Cyber Law Practice Group, where she assists in drafting terms of use and/or security, data breach and intellectual property policies for use on clients’ websites. She also advises clients regarding compliance with state and federal data privacy laws and regulations.
Prior to joining the firm, Amanda counseled and defended insurance companies on insurance coverage issues pertaining to a variety of policies, including directors & officers, professional liability, employment practices liability, errors & omissions, representations and warranties, and commercial general liability policies. Amanda also represented businesses in various types of commercial litigation, including employment discrimination, personal injury, and property damage disputes.
Amanda graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law where she also was a member of the American Journal of Law and Medicine. During law school, Amanda interned for the Honorable Juan R. Torruella at the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
