Allen Lentz’s practice has focused on the areas of business and real estate, as well as matters involving the representation of high net worth individuals for more than four decades. Allen regularly counsels clients with respect to transactions involving business issues, real property purchase/sale and lease agreements, formation and governance of entities, drafting and interpretation of contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and employment and non-competition agreements. He has a wide range of contacts within the Nashville legal community and frequently arranges counsel for clients’ specific legal needs.
Allen’s experience spans a broad cross section of industries and professions, including automobile dealerships, convenience stores, scrap iron and steel processors, low level radioactive waste disposal companies, meat processing facilities, wine/spirits distributors, as well as various lenders. He has represented several certified public accounting firms. He has regularly guided individuals, entrepreneurs, business entities and closely held enterprises with respect to entity formation, organization and financing matters, business transactions and commercial agreements, capital funding, labor and employment issues, mergers and acquisitions, as well as exit strategies. He also serves as a Trustee with respect to several Trust arrangements.
Allen also has many years of experience representing physicians and dentists in Tennessee in such practice specialties as ophthalmology, dermatology, anesthesia, orthopedics, obstetrics, colon and rectal surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, general dentistry and endodontics, among others. He has counseled physicians and dentists in the areas of employment agreements, sales of practice groups, operating and shareholder agreements, non-competition agreements, disassociation from hospitals and medical groups, as well as entity governance matters.
Allen’s current focus is the representation of closely held businesses and high net worth individuals in their commercial and personal activities.
